I miss Fox News. I don't like CNN.   Cry

What happened to it?

Anyone know or complained to Sprint?

Any email contact at Sprint to write to?

They got rid of it because people are willing to pay for it. That's basically the answer I got out of Sprint. You have to sign up for Sprint TV Xtra to get it (along with a bunch of other channels - see the post on TV Xtra for a list). It's $9.99 a month for it now.

 Wink
dr sam, despair not, at least not quite yet, i too refuse to give any ratings to the Communist News Network, or others of that ilk. i called today and finally got a guy named jeff who was actually american and born with the name jeff. i calmly explained they heavily marketed fox news channel and now im not gonna let them charge me 10$ for it as i expected it was unlimited and free on my plan( that they forced me to get) he said he got ok from supervisor and i could go ahead and sign up normally for the Premium channel containing fox news and he would place a credit every month for that amount on my bill. Voila...FNC and more. now having said that, it took me three times to get him so i advise just ask for supervisor any, ANY ANY time you call, lest you deal with a thick middle eastern accent guy named JIM BOB! lol lets hope this good service will become the norm?Huh?

Wait...you got the Sprint TV Xtra for FREE? That's awesome! I was going to try and call and see if I could get it free for a couple weeks to test it out, but if I could get it for free every month, that would be even better. I may have to give this a try.

yep, i really didnt expect that,  just expected to have the price repeated every time you tell them whats on your mind like usual, and hanging up the phone feeling why'd i bother, like is so usual with their (non) cust service. maybe its a new dawn. and i already subscribed and dont see FNC listed as a choice under sprint tv extra, although it is mentioned couple times as a choice b4 you subscribe through my sprint??? maybe only certain times of day?   wouldnt it be funny if it has moved again and i got this free for nothing? priceless...

I'd say save your money...I haven't seen fox news yet...now they have a fox business...and with the removal of Showtime in the line up...doesn't seem a worthy investment spending the extra money for

I got a very honest response from Sprint today - Sprint TV is not good. I think we all knew that already (just take a look if you don't believe me - it's choppy, ghosty, etc.). The guy pretty much told me it would be a waste of money to sign up for TV Xtra. He gave me the option to try it for free for a few days, though (I think he thought I didn't believe him). I wonder if the new MR5 will fix the TV...

On the contrary, with a few modifications Sprint TV is awesome!

That said, I wouldn't buy more channels...

Agreed 100%.A few extremely simple and safe modifications I might add.
But that's another thread in another section.  Wink

Even without mods my TV works fine, I guess others connections may not be as good.

I've done all the TV mods, and it doesn't really help all that much. Maybe I have a crummy connection in my apartment...which wouldn't surprise me. I'm still going to wait to see if MR5 fixes TV a bit more. I probably won't be paying for Sprint TV Xtra right now anyway.
