After five minutes of viewing live tv or any sprint radio station I get a message that states "If you are still enjoying this program, press OK, otherwise we will stop the program and return you back to the guide."  This happens approximately 5 minutes after starting to view/listen to something and continues to come up ever few minutes.  Anyone else heard of this?  It just started doing this today.

God, let's hope Sprint doesn't start up with that B.S. on this phone too
Very VERY annoying...One of my older phones did this...may it rest in pieces....

It happened to me. And if you don't click on it, it will shut off the program.

My first phone that had Sprint TV had a timer that would shut off the tv to save battery life. I had to ask about it and that's what I was told. I have'nt run across that in the Instinct yet.

Call Sprint and tell them if you wanted to drain the battery, it should be your choice...tell them it's bothering you...start a petition at b.a.w.
Once this starts on all our phones, you guys are really going to go nutz...

I'm getting the same damn thing. Just bought an Instinct the other day. I found one of my favorite FM stations (only one) and was enjoying listening to it. Five minutes later, it was gone. Why would Sprint do something so stupid? If we WEREN'T enjoying the program, we'd cancel it ourselves. What's the point of listening to radio/watching TV if you have to answer a dialog box every five minutes? It completely takes away the usefulness. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Yep, it's happening to me and has been since late November/early December. We are either the test market dummies for this or it is on the way for everyone. I have called Sprint and gone to the store and everyone except one person insists it's my phone and not Sprint. I say, it's a network message that their servers are sending. Finally one girl confessed that Sprint is all about limiting bandwidth. So, I just acknowledge the annoying message and hope enough people will complain or leave (again) and Sprint will reconsider. I have a hard time understanding how they can do this on an unlimited plan but I can't beat the price with any other provider.

I do hope that someone with the "know how" is working on a solution to this new problem. Of course, if everyone is not having this problem I guess it will be a while before we have a fix. I will wait patiently.

There wont be any plan to fix this, in fact, any Instinct not already getting this annoying interruption of your unlimited data plan, will soon experience this....
Either starting tommarow with MR5, or the tv update coming in two weeks...
Of course they'll say its the vendor....blah...this is Sprint folks...nobody else doing this to you...Got this directly from a friend at Sprint...
your right...to one of the earlier posters....it's about controlling the bandwidth...you have no say in this....For those who haven't experienced this...Your Gonna FLIP!!! Angry
