speed of internet connection

hello im sorry if im posting in the wrong spots but i got a question and im wondering if anyone can help me.. some days my connections are really slow and then some times they are so fast that that when i run a speed test it cant pick it up.. im confused is this normal... and if not what can i do to make run fast all the time?? with out doing the mods posted on previous threads i really dont want to mess my phone up hmmm... anyway sorry again if im posting this in wrong place... any help would be greatly appreciated. Huh?
