Touchscreen problems - Suspected reasons...

here's hoping... I have the same problem.  The spots, about 4 of them all next to each other going up the left side of the screen, have been there for MONTHS and no problem.  Yesterday, it just crapped out.  I get my upgrade discount in a little over a month.  I know the Sprint Store employees get a commission per phone sold so I'll promise to buy my new EVO or EPIC from them if they get the screen fixed/replaced today  :-)

so the store was unwilling to do anything on my phone... but it started working somewhat so it'll get me through the month.  that's all I need.  

I know it's had it's issues but I'm glad I had an Instinct.  I'll be moving on to either the Epic or the EVO... still not sure yet... just gotta get to Oct 1st...

what sucks is Sprint denied ever knowing about this problem.  A girl at work has one and she got the spots shortly after getting her phone, she took it to the store (no insurance) and the guy just popped a new screen in for her.  Oh well....
