Oh lordy.  I took a Micro sd card from a different samsung phone, put it in the Instinct and now the touch screen doesn't work on the Instinct.  I tried taking out the sd card, taking out the battery and waiting, and nothing is working.  does anyone have any suggestions??

thank you...

this is a long shot, but try taking the SD card that you have in there out and with the PHONE OFF, plug it into the computer (so the computer turns on the phone to the charging screen). then unplug the phone and turn it back on...i know its a longs shot but anything is worth trying at this point.   If you do get it working you will want to reformat your SD card (just make sure to remove anything you would like to keep).  Good luck let me know how it goes

I'm gonna call coincidence on this one.  Why would an msd card make his screen stop working?

Either he isn't reporting something that happened or this is a wierd code issue...maybe the other memory card had a system file on it that jacked up his firmware?

No, id bring it back. To tell you the truth i had a problem where my phone still thought it was in headset mode....and I couldn't hear anyone untill i tricked it back....by doing something like plugging my headphones back in...calling someone....hang up on them....turn the phone off, unplug the headphones, turn it back on and redial or something like that. So doing what you said may trick it....Technology is fickle, Try it and see what happens!

The way i do it is plug it into bitpim then unplug it without closing out of bitpim first. Try that!!
