Samsung Instinct - Help with touch screen

It first started when I was typing a text message it put a apostrophe then question mark then hit enter four times or so, then exit out of the message and pop up save as draft. I tried this a couple times it kept on doing it. So I exited out and just went to the main screen anything I click it will load then instantly go back to the main screen as if someone pressed the back key. Don't know what to do. Cry

Oh also I have shut it down then pulled the battery out and it didn't work. Then I just restarted it and didn't work either.

You are probably going to have to do a total reset on the phone. Before you try it make sure when you remove the battery that you keep it out for at least a minute. if that doesn't work then, if you can, go to settings>reset>reset phone.

well I kept it in my pocket after toying with it cause it made me so mad and after about an hour of leaving it completely untouched it worked for some strange reason. But thank you for the advice I was trying to reset it at the time but since it'd just go back to the main menu after anything was clicked i couldn't get to the Reset and once i did after holding down and moving another figure to hit the next button it asked for the number and that didn't work at all it'd just close out when trying to press any number.

if you are with sprint its just a simple phone call to switch them out. or you can use the sprint.com activation thing. Junt make sure it is a sprint phone.
