Adam in the original hebrew means MAN, so even when you read genesis, they are not talking about a single man.
The truth is; religion. mythology, superstition, it is all BS. The only truth that we can hold on to is Science.
I see a problem this Adam philosophy statement: “It is only the second time since beginning, that math and instinct have come together to create, Adam.” I posted the same in Rohan's blog (with name Mann), but did not get much response. Reproducing the same below.
I see a problem with your philosophy statement: “It is only the second time since beginning, that math and instinct have come together to create, Adam.” It implies that something as physical and as real as the Adam tablet has happened in the past (beginning?) for the first time and this is the second instance. Imho, it is totally ok that you took inspiration from the “story” of Adam and Eve, but as a student of science, it is not prudent on your part to mean that you actually “believe” the myth of Adam and Eve.
I think you should discard or completely rework that line. When you have names like Adam, Eden, Genesis it is important that you are careful to maintain this distinction that you only take this story as inspiration and not for real. Or else you will have to answer some irritating questions in future!
Is it only me or does anyone else see problem with the statement above?
