IF you have BOTH .jar and .jad FILES Follow this

Mods. First off if this is in the wrong section please move it to where it would help most people. (thought since alot of people get 3rd party apps and dont know how to upload them i figured i would help.

Everyone. I know this uses a site to upload files i dont know if it is a black site or not...dont know why when this doesn't directly in anyway link to pirated apps or anything. ANYWAYS There will be two attached pictures describing my instructions.

IF you have both the jar and the jad files. Hold down CTRL on your keyboard and click both the .jar/.jad right click ONE of the highlighted files then goto Sent To> then click Compress (zipped) Folder this should create a .zip file in that same folder (I use the desktop for all my jar/jad downloads...or ill put them in a folder on my desktop) now....go to the Sprint Upload Site ill provide two links....dunno if both will work...I use only one of them and haven't had any problems yet.

1st Link: http://ra.pcslab.com/upload/upload.php (this is the main one i ALWAYS use)
2nd Link: Forget it i cant get it to work cuz of cookie problems.  First link should work fine.

ON the 1ST LINK when you click on that...i suggest bookmarking this page (i have it bookmarked)....it may say "No File Selected" this is ok....just wait for a few seconds then it should go to a screen that looks like (file attached below named "Sprint Upload Site.jpg" so it should be easy)

ONCE you have BOOKMARKED (repeat-BOOKMARKED) the site. click in the box where it says phone number (BLACK Arrow pointing to it) type in your 10 Digit phone number as shown no -'s between the numbers.... (As shown in front of ORANGE Arrow) DO NOT worry about the box with the GREY lines through it....click Browse (BLUE arrow pointing to it and is marked around the browse button) find the .zip file where you saved the .jar and .jad saved AS the .zip...it should be the same name as the files you zipped.... EXAMPLE: "Sprint TV.jad" and or "Sprint TV.jar" both of those files become "Sprint TV.zip" may only show "Sprint TV" Though...find the .zip file in the folder where you saved it then the box with the red arrow in it will be populated....CLICK "Send" (PINK arrow pointing and marked around the button)

ONCE you have done this you will get a text message to the phone in which the phone number you entered belongs....in said text message there will be a link tap it...if a message comes up asking if you Browse, Share URL, or Save to Contacts...click browse then it will bring you to a Continue Download or a Cancel....click continue download...wait for download to be done....once its done...and you wanna test it out...click RUN when its done...if you wanna just download more apps click DONE then you should be done....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF you only wanna upload with the .jar file Follow THIS

The link to this site is http://rum kin .com/tools/sprint/index.php (WITHOUT the spaces between rum, kin, and .com (again mods i dont see how this would be black but if it is let me know and sorry ahead of time for my infraction. THE PICTURE with the details for this set of instructions is named HOWTORUMKUN.jpg

The instructions for where to put the .jar file on your computer is the same for this site... (put it in a folder named whatever you need it to be named for you to remember ON YOUR DESKTOP, this is what I do)

Once you get to the SITE. Click Browse (the black arrows point to said Browse button), on the popup window find the said .jar file on your desktop and click ok.....this will populate the box that has the blueish oval around it

ONCE you do this. type your sprint cell phone number in box that the blue arrow is pointing to....type in your phone number as shown...with the hot pink arrow once you type in your 10 digit number.......

CLICK UPLOAD MIDLET which has the bright red arrow pointing towards it.....

ONCE you do this..... WAIT for a text message to come to your phone.....in said text message there will be a link in it....tap on it....ONCE you do that...it should bring up a Continue Download or Cancel Option. CLICK CONTINUE DOWNLOAD.....wait...then click RUN when its down downloading....ENJOY.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FOR RINGERS, WALLPAPERS and whatever else...

WHY in the world would you use that last site to upload ringers when ur makin an MP3 there is better sites out there that modifies MP3 files to make ringers...go use those... I dont support those on this thread sorry. for wallpapers? I mean come on...just save the pictures to folders under your DCIM root on your memory stick then just use the phone to make it a wallpaper.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To anyone who is reading this and using it as help your completely welcome. I DO take cookies but that is not why i wrote this....I wrote this because in 80% of all the threads and topics i read about there is always a question "How do i get this on my phone....THIS is that Thread..... These are the only two sites i use....never had a problem. Again Your Welcome...oh and Your Welcome to all the other people who wont need to do this work again just tell them to search "How To Upload" haha

ALSO I have uploaded the notepad file with these instructions if your like my dad where you dont wanna google/search/ or try to find it...u can save it to your desktop in the same folder that you will make for your jar and jads. File name is "How To Upload Jars and Jads.jpg"

That's a lot of work you put into this. Nice job.  Unfortunately, people will have to search to find it, which is what we try and get them to do, but they're too lazy to.  There are already multiple threads out there that tell you how to upload to your phone.  Here's one that's stickied...

Maybe somebody will luck up and stumble across this, but more than likely they will just keep asking "how do I"

Again, nice job though.
