Browse to link below and ask to be notified when Samsung devices are supported (no direct link for just the instinct).  Maybe if the interest is shown we can get this software.

VOIP?...why?..I guess it makes sense if you need to call overseas somewhere...or if you have phone plan where you have unlimited data but are charged minutes?...that doesn't sound right....free data but charged minutes?...nope still doesn't sound right......ah.....or wifi and don't want to use minutes....ok...that sounds reasonable.....but the Instinct doesn't have wifi......so again...VOIP?....last time I checked to get the Instinct you needed one of two "everything" plans.
There's plenty of discussion about VOIP in the Skype threads. Apparently there are some who REALLY want it.
Good luck to you getting people on board.

BB, you nailed it on the head. I don't understand why people want "free" calling (you STILL have to pay for VOIP services. Skype, Truphone...I just don't get it.

First off, NO YOU DONT HAVE TO GET AN EVERYTHING PLAN FOR THE INSTINCT.

We should sticky that everywhere because I think alot of people got suckered into paying a hundred bucks a month for nothing.

And you're a mod so you should no better.  Their are 5-6 plans for the instinct and come with as little as 400 minutes (with unlimited everything else) for $59/month.

Truphone international is super cheap (your unlimited plan doesn't cover international at all) and what they dont heavily advertise is that local or intervoip is either free or near free.

Ahh...a scolding?

When the phone first came out(that's when I got mine),you had the choice of two plans,$79.99 or $99.99 a month both tied to a two year contract. That was it.I was already paying about $90 and it went over $100 every now and then.No big thing to pay the additional 10 bucks for the kitchen sink.I haven't looked into any new additions to their plans since then. Why would I?I don't go to their site or stores or even pay attention to the adds. It's not my job.I'm a mod,not a Sprint employee. And it's right in my post above that international calls makes sense.

My service it killer,I have a personal service rep with a direct number if anything goes wacky, and unlike some members,my experience with the phone has been very positive.Maybe I am gifted with an amount of tolerance unknown to some these days.

So cool,I'm glad to know that they added plans to the mix,and hopefully you took advantage of it. .Had they been offered upon it's debut,I still would have chose a plan with unlimited minutes for all calls because it's a phone first(my only phone, don't need another),everything else is gravy.I hope for members like yourself the option of VOIP becomes available,so in a gesture of solidarity I'll sign the list on Truphone.

I have the family plan, maybe that makes a difference as I'm averaging a "per phone" price out of the whole.

I bought the phone two days before it was released using that special "Invitation" they sent out so the pricing I got was available day 1 (or day -2 i guess).

I wasn't being negative but re-reading that I may have come off crast.  I think it was because I was trying hard to conserve characters so I didn't have to post 4 times Smiley

Anywho sorry,...

Thanks for the support, your the man.
