Opera Mini browser for iPhone has been unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, and may be available soon in the App Store, if Opera has it’s way with Apple. Android users don’t have to wait that long. The world’s fasted mobile browser is now available for download.

Opera Mini 5 Beta, thanks to server side compression, is really fast making it the best choice for mobile users. According to Opera Mini 5 works on any mobile device, including Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, iPhone,  and Android. It has all those noteworthy features such as Speed Dial, tabbed browsing (Visual Tabs), download manager, password manager, Bookmarks Sync (Opera Link), and so on.

Opera Mini 5 does not yet support multi touch, but we may see it in the final version. You can download Opera Mini 5 Beta by visiting http://m.opera.com/next and clicking on the ‘Download Opera Mini 5 for Android’ link. Or you could simply search for ‘Opera Mini’ in the Android market.

For desktop users, Opera has recently released Opera 10.5 Final version for Windows which brings excellent Windows 7 integration with support for Aero effects, and Opera 10.5 Beta for Mac OSX with multi touch support.
