First off, the guy in the video is very annoying lol sorry to say it.

Second, this is a cool and stupid idea at the same time. The cool part is because you can act like your some super spy getting some info off of a person and the stupid part is ...WHO THE HECK is gonna walk around wearing an X tag shirt or badge?.....

If the idea takes off, people will put bumper stickers on their cars, badges on their bookbags, gym bags, Trapper Keepers, purses, shoes, wear sports shirts, etc, anywhere reasonable that people will see it in public.

For the record, I think the guy in the video is less annoying than your meaningless reply to the post!  The point was to show that people are making creative features for the Instinct.

Wow! How is that I can understand the video but nobody is capable??

Simply:  People wear XTagged shirts, put bumper stickers on their cars, 'badges' on gymbags, bookbags, purses, etc that have their personal tagg number on it, which links to their account.  You take a picture of their number with your Instinct, you send the picture to XTagged via the XTagged software, it automatically recognizes the badge number and pulls up the person's associated Myspace profile, Youtube, Facebook profile, personal website, anything linked to their XTagged account.

Why is that so hard to grasp?

If you have no clue what xtagged is then its obvious you wouldnt understand this. But yeah this seems kind of useless. I have no idea how this is the "future" unless were talking about the future of stalking.

It's painfully clear the nobody on this forum ever has anything meaningful or positive to say about any thread.  How can it be stalking if you AREN'T wearing a Tagg?  Obviously, if you are wearing the Tagg you want people to look you up... is that still stalking?

It's called online social networking!

It looks like a very stupid and useless idea to me, really why would you even call that "cool", the only way its cool is if you want to act like a 10 year old spy and use it everywhere lol

Yes online being the keyword. Once you go from the internet to actually taking pictures of someone or their property to find out more information on them it becomes stalking. But yes i know the people who have the Taggs must want this.

But yeah this is cool for the people that use the xtagg but for everyone else which is the majority its completely useless.

Useless yes, just like MySpace is completely useless to people who don't use it.  Just like PacMan on a cell phone is completely useless to people who dont play PacMan.  Just like oxygen is completely useless fish.  Just like trees are completely useless to camels.  Those must all be stupid ideas also.  As a matter of fact, any new idea should considered a dumb one because nobody uses the idea yet.

This is most useless user-based forum ever.

I kind of mess with you because in all ur posts your so defensive. Sorry for that. I didnt mean to say its not good to see that people are working on the instinct. I just kind of started posting random stuff because of your holier than thou attitude. comments like "Wow! How is that I can understand the video but nobody is capable??  " "Why is that so hard to grasp?" "It's painfully clear the nobody on this forum ever has anything meaningful or positive to say about any thread. " and finally "This is most useless user-based forum ever."

People didn't respond to this thread to well because of your comments and attitude.

But yeah like i said its cool to see people are working on the instinct.

It doesn't have to be just personal stuff, it could be business websites or anything else.

If xtag gets popular, people can use the stickers shirts or whatever to advertise their product or site.

If the idea gets popular it could probably branch out to where the person doesn't have to have xtag and you can just take a picture of a logo on a shirt or a car and it takes you straight to the website.

I can see some use to this in the future.

Could be pretty nice.

Agreed at first i thought it was you take a picture of something and it takes you to the website that would be a pretty cool feature for businesses to get more advertising. Thats why I said its good to see people are at least working on the instinct.

The coolest part about it is the technology.  Image and/or letter recognition application for the Instinct, web based or not, is just awesome!  The video also showcased the fast data transfers and uploading with the EV DO Rev A network.  Lots of future possibilities!
Thanks for the meaningful positive response bk8711.
