Well, hopefully they take a page from mobile gmaps and allow you to use your memory card to store map information.

Where can I get google maps 2.2.0? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet. The link at getjar for 2.2.0 no longer works & I can't get it from google either cause they only have 2.3.2 posted.

I've tried 2.3.2 but I can't get to thru the terms & agreement to accept. I did some reading and found that there's a problem with the virtual kb.

Folks I wanna clarify something for y'all...

If you are looking for the correct file on GetJar you will have to look for the .jar file that contains "ts" in the file name. Google was pretty plain in naming them as "ts" stands for "touch screen". Look under the "versions" tab and then scroll down to the 100's. Look for the gmaps-232-m2_ts_L1.jar file. It will work. I'm using it right now. Cheesy

street view is working and I can rotate it but it freezes when it starts to download the picture for the new angle. Its a big improvement anyway.

Hey yall,

I was one of those unfortunates who bricked there phone when removing one of versions of GoogeMaps while having the policy hack in place. (phone was replaced for free)

anyway... i might be in the same situation again.
Got the new phone did all the updates and the policy hack then Installed GoogleMaps 2.20 from their website. Works fine.

I recently Updated to the CD17 firmware with the policy hack in place.

Will I run into problems when trying to upgrade to a newer version of GM.
Should I delete the current version or let it be overwritten?
Should I remove / repair Policy.txt first?

Thanks,
Leviathsin
