There is a new FREE IM client in the digital lounge called "Instant Messaging" made by OZ Communications Inc.

"Multi-headed IM client that easily allows you to toggle between AOL, Yahoo and MSN Messengers".

It works perfect so far. I think it might have been made for the Instinct. We even have a list of emotion cons in Hotmail. I have not tried AIM or Yahoo yet.

It is about time we have a working IM application. Thank you Sprint!  Grin Grin Grin

You can find it under " free stuff" on the second page.

I might even get my first cookie for this. laugh

Here is the link to download it...

On MSN they show the idle icon with the clock symbol. Not sure about AIM as I do not remember my login information.

THANKS for my first cookie even if it was negative. I am not all about the cookie business. I support it but do not mind if I have any. I am glad to finally find something and be the first to spread the good word to all the good people on this site.
This site is my one stop shop for all Instinct related.

I would say no. Our music will play in the background but there is no notification that it is running. You have to go fun, music, to stop it.

Windows phones have the icon in the task bar to show you all running programs. The Instinct does not have that feature so I would assume that it will not run in the background. I will be testing this when I get home to verify.

I did get a message after a while of non use telling me that it was going to log out. I do not know the how long of non use until this message appears.

I have used all the other IM programs on this site and I would personally say this is the best by far. Other will disagree due to the lack of support of other popular IM clients but this is defiantly a good start.

If you exit through the program, it keeps you signed it...so I guess you could say it is in the background...but no alerts when you get a IM...sucks...I messaged myself, from a seperate account, and there was no alert. But when I opened the program back up, there it was, a message.

YAY!
