I ran across this browser this morning... Renders pages beautifully, scrolls well, but thats about it.  It claims "flash" support, and is still in beta.  You have to sign up on the bolt site, and I had to download the unsigned version.

Check it out.

It's actually flash video( in mobilecrunch's words "sort of" laugh)  It's actually the best rendering browser i've seen so far.  I'm not to fond of the split screen concept, it might grow on you after a while, but it's awfully clunky imo.

Betas will do that to ya. The split screen concept is different, but I think it could be really nice if implimented properly.

And why'd you have to burst my bubble about the flash? Curse you Aqua Scum! (sorry, daughter's watching Finding Nemo)...

hmm..... very interesting, i downloaded the "verisign" verison and it downloads and startsup, but when trying to load a web page, it stalls at "20%", still though, looks to be impressive

Not bad. Really like it. Was able to see more schtuff than on the Opera Mini. Right now is fast downloading pages. Let's see how it is once it's fully launched.

I think the way it renders as fast as it renders is a very good start for Beta. There was some things such as tabbed browsing, download manager and page flicker (going forwards and backwards with the flick of a finger) in UCWEb that I hope would be somewhat implemented in the nice browser or ucweb implementing full page rendering.

Either way we have all come a long way from the days of complaining about the stock browser!

Nice start Bolt.

Go to a site, touch the very bottom of the screen on the left-hand side, under settings, split screen.

And this browser opens the regular Yahoo site.... that's unusual. Smiley

Yeah, browsing the yahoo site was kind of weird. I think that the network is being swamped big time, because at first browsing was pretty quick, and it's kind of slowed down.

Have yet to confirm the flash support.

Go to youtube if you want to see how the video works.  I'm thinking it converts the vids to 3gp and streams them.  It opens the instinct browser to play them.
