Sprint tv is a joke on this travesty of a phone. Is there anyone that can watch more than 30 seconds without freezing? Can anyone view tv in thr correct format, other than a squished together1 inch by 1 inch square. The bufferlength hack has not helped. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Try this

##DATA#
go to MEDIA
go to EDIT
Type in your MSL
go to MMG
go to IP
Back space the numbers out and type in 000.000.000.000
got to OK
go to PORT
Back space al the numbers out again and type in 0000
go to OK
Then (i cant remenber if you phone resets at this point or if you have to go to the next step and press done) when your phone resets try your TV you should notice a difference. You will also notice a difference in the speed of your web apps and brouser as well.

And not to be a nudge but you could have searched this. It has been posted many times, Good Luck.

P.S. This is not recommended by sprint and could void your warranty. But it worked for me.

Also know that if you do that, you won't be able to see the videos that show up with the news...

My sprint TV looks fine, not choppy at all since the update. Have you updated all your software?

Also, increasing your Multimedia buffer size is supposed to help too. This can be done thru ##DATA#.

My current Instinct mods: DDTM Disabled, PAM Enabled, Multimedia Buffer increased.

I had to go to work the day Gustav hit and I had CNN Live playing in my car on the 1/2 hour drive (with the earphone in of course), and I did'nt have one problem.  Correction. I live in the Port Richey area of Florida and was driving to Spring Hill and my little car was getting slammed all over the road by wind gusts. That was the only problem i had, staying on the road.

Yes. I do have tbe newest version of sprint tv app. Basically it will play for 5 - 10 seconds and then freeze...so annoying. I did the mods on my previous instinct and I am reluctant to make mods on this one. I did go to my local sprint store today and the rep told me about an outage that they are experiencing. So take that how you wish..I guess I will be patient and wait.

So, The sprint rep gets back with me today, and said the Tech Dept. indicated I may have recieved a bad update, but we need to go through some steps to troubleshoot my phone.
My thoughts are..."didn't we all get the same tv update?"
But I'm not tripping...guess we'll see how it goes...
Watched the debate last night...and only for about 45 seconds out of 25 minutes did I get a clear picture...very upsetting, froze, rebooted my phone 3 times, and all the other goodies to help make me the more frustrated led me to contact dan@sprint, since No one is contacting me back...
Here's to hoping angel...I really enjoy watching the tv on a bigger screen, but how can I now that...well....now that I basically can't.
Guess we'll see tomarrow...

I totally sympathize!  I can't watch more than 10 seconds without the video freezing up,but the audio still runs.  My girlfriend has a Samsung Upstage and the tv works almost perfectly... I don't get why the tv doesn't work so well on this phone!

Ok...Tech had me re-set the phone...being this is a major issue with me, why not...
Back to square one now, and after re-updating my tv it only took 2 and a half minutes for my phone to crash while Tech waited to see if it would...But for 2 and a half minutes, boy it looked good...so no resolve, and lot's of things to do to my phone now, thanks to the wipe out of a re-set.
Next move...they recommended me to a service store for a re-flash...whatever it takes man, I just want my tv working properly.
So, again, here's to hoping...

Damn, Instinct number two...Hallmark videos won't play...Tv is acting funny, not responsive...exception error...Look up, and there's my other post...that's bad...
Took my battery out...waiting... for what?... I don't know... Embarrassed
Guess I'll call...Shucks...let me search around first...-Z- you had the hallmark issues, let's see if that helps...Nope, not havin those problems..I'm getting a "timed out, channel unavalible" for hallmarks
and an "uncaught exception error" "exiting application" a couple minutes after I try the TV, and then it just goes back to the fun section....

Think it's mad at me for playing with that damn iphone earlier? laugh

Okay, that's screwy, now comedy central plays...it's on my favs...
But the TV app isn't working right...This needs more investigating...

Update:  Added "Live channels' to favs, they work, try 'live channels' on the TV app, and it freezes,...then errors after a couple minutes, then back to the fun page.  Try "all channels", and it works fine?Huh?
Hallmarks are a no go...no hacking since I got the phone....SH!T!!!
