Oh my silly friend from KC came up this weekend sporting that silly 3g iphone again and he wanted to show me the new app from google that is like our push to talk, only he doesn't push but rather tilts the phone to his ear and the phone is ready to talk into...pretty neat.  Then wanted me to check out some games he got like backyard baseball and this plane flying game that you fly with the phone tilting and what not....price for all three apps and games....1$
Seems people are bending over backwards to support the iphone for no charge just to make the phone's experience better for everyone...  His only complaint?  freezing up an dropped calls. Never heard that before, lol....
So we spent an hour or so comparing games...Only game that caught his full attention on our phone was tower blocks...while most games seemed pretty impressive to me on the iphone...probably because I don't own one.
You know, we say iphone fanboys are brainwashed with the iphone, but most of us who bought the Instinct in June, are still hoping for fixes, apps, and what not, might be the brainwashed one's thinking this phone will excel.  I can honestly say I'm guilty in this department...
I mean after 6 months my gps still sees my address as next door, my tv app sux, and even after a major overhaul on the browser I find myself using only Opera because it's the only app I have that can remember passwords.
Most everything developed for the Instinct will have flaws...Even some games Sprint sells are slow and glitchy on our phone.  It's what I've come to expect with this phone after 6 months.
So while my buddy can rub his phone in my face now that it can do everything our phone can do...I can honestly say I've never dropped a call.  That is also something I've come to expect.
KB got it right...sharing what he had.  I wish you guys luck with your site.
But selling glitchy apps is something only Sprint should do, right? Haha!!!

He is my only argument...If more people would have DONATED in the beginning, maybe they wouldn't charge? I am not saying you guys haven't, I know some of you had, but what about all the people who only log on to download things, never post, never feedback, never donate? Maybe that is why we pay for them.

And I would much rather pay for these apps then for Sprints...mbCal, the Meboy in progress, and several others are way more usefull to me then any of the garbage Sprint is selling, for 2-3 times the price.

I disagree I guess...( maybe you missed the humor ). Sprint can sell millions of glitchy Instincts, and over time try to correct it's flaws, and that is acceptable to most after 6 months.
Developers, like Sprint, are having the same problems developing for a phone that isn't exactly open source, when they say it is, and are working with it the only way they can to make our experience a better one.
KB's flashlight/doodle pad app is probably the most popular of these apps and very useful.  If he charges for it, he should, it's one of the only apps developed that doesn't have flaws...Kudos for that KB. Kudos to all who develop apps for us, I, for one, appreciate it.
Some people buy their apps, and just like a snake in the grass, post them on sites to give away.  Sorry to bust bubbles, but this thread stinks already...

Dont like it? Dont buy it. OMG... what an amazing concept. You mean... they arent forcing you to try their product NOR forcing you to pay?

Yeah... really good reason to complain. :-/

Oh, and to top that off... its 2$

Well. It definitelly is out of the discussion, whether it is hot or not...

I think that as long as beta testing remains open, this is going to happen.
