I feel alot better than the initial iphone goobers who spent 499$ on the iphone only a year later have them release a better one that used a faster network that they werent able to use.

Guys,

We might as well get used to this.  Technology changes the moment you walk out of a store with your new gadget.  It becomes obsolete the moment you buy it.

No doubt...companies are always rushing the next best thing to the market...
with all the Instinct-look a likes, Instinct definately has started a trend...
Just think of the poor, intrepid PC gamer; spending $600 for the latest, state-of-the-art video card so he can run Crysis 3fps faster than his buddies, only to have is beloved über card become obsolete the very next week...

Why is eveyrone worried about wat other companies have to offer, be happy wat u got , it has been like this since the start of humanity.... new things will always come out, its all about suply and demand, Companies are rushing and coming out with things that they would of probably saved for a couple of more years, but because the competition got heavy, well...

come on now, instinct aint that bad

sheesh....

I just do what I did, I carry in one belt clip the instinct phone, and right next to it in another thin belt clip I carrg the new thin gen. Itouch. Everything the iphone does only no calls. free fast internet, youtube, tv, email, messengers, free applications of app store all free. it works of wi fi so all you do is buy it. I look pimp lol.

acceleromitor is a bigggg deal.  All motion games that the iphone has can not be put onto our phone because of the lack of the acceleromitor.  Its a very cool feature, granted not needed but limits the amounts of apps that are possible for our phone.

Not quite true. They can't be put on our phone for a lot of reasons. This is just ONE of them. Plus it would bog down the phone's already slow processor

I have an iPod touch that can play those games.  Mostly they suck.  You have to twist the iPod around in order to get things to happen, which of course obscures your visibilty of the actual game screen ..somewhat self-defeating.    It's also SLOW to react ... definately a lag.

It's NICE that you can turn the iPod/iPhone screen around and it automatically rotates web-pages, and a few other things, BUT, it's not "standard" thru ALL the applications and keyboard, and sometimes it does it when you don't WANT it to. There's NO way to disable it.  Good AND Bad all at the same time.

wierd kcken becuase I happen to have the Itouch and it works perfectly on mine. You might want to check yours out lol There is no lag on mine smooth as can be, and games well I dont have any problem with visibility of the actual game screen. Fits in perfectly. You might want to return yours lol no offense. The internet is real fast with wi-fi couldnt ask for more, really responsive. And to top that out Right next is the soon to be updated Insinct. I have the best of both worlds. Oh and as far as applications I have around 30 of them with no lag. Its the 2 generation Itouch though. Dont know which one you carry.

well its clear logic that any look-alike smartphone that functions like the instinct that gets released to the public later than the instinct will be considerably better than it because the people who made the device had more time to work on it, improve it, and get rid of the kinks, but remember if you really think about the instinct has only been out for a few months and they are releasing new apps for it an improving it greatly. i am pretty sure by summer of 2009 the instinct will be far better than most of the phones on the market. espescially when 4G is made available all over the U.S.
