animated and video texts not playing. help

does anyone else have this issue. when people send me animated or video text messages no matter who their provider is, it will not play on my instinct. it just shows up as a picture of the first scene of the clip. any help is appreciated.

Sorry there, buckaroo, but our humble little phone doesn't support animated images. Regarding video, methinks it only supports mp4 or 3gp (or something like that).
