It's Christmas Eve, and nothing is more appropriate for me than to count my blessings.  Among the many things I can be thankful for this year, I include my Instinct.  Here are my top 10 reasons why I love this phone:

10. Slim size
09. Simply Everything Plan
08. Expandable SD card
07. Spare battery
06. Stereo Bluetooth
05. Speech to action
04. Exchange calendar
03. Live search
02. Navigation

And the number one reason I love my Instinct is...........

01. PAM, PAM, PAM!!!!!!!!!!!  (I'm surfing this forum now with a speed over 550 kbps!)

If you want more apps, check out http://instinct-software.com/.

Glad your TV works well.  Mine sucks a little.  When comparing the Instinct TV with the Pearl TV, the Pearl is awesome.  That's what the Instinct TV should look like.

My TV is awesome in RI,  I have a couple of Tivo's in house so I rarely watch TV on the phone except at work,  I watch movies etc from my SD mostly.

This phone fills every one of my requirements apart from putting the dishes away.

Sumthins wrong.  You gotta return the phone.  Mine does the dishes and puts them away, but I did not want to add that to my top 10.  Wink

Wait.. how are you all getting away with not getting charged for PAM if they dont allow us to have a PAM plan? I know how to activate PAM but ive been too scarred about charges.

Luck, there is no proof that they can/cannot discover you've been using PAM. If you REALLY can't afford to be charged, don't do it. It's like downloading music, it's very illegal, and VERY expensive if you get caught, but look how many people do it

How can Sprint really know we're using PAM?  Data is data.  I don't stay logged on for hours.  It's like browsing the web or watching video.  I'm being too simplistic, I know.

I pam with 3 phones including the Instinct.  Ive never been charged, and with the purchase of my first two phones, they know I do it....they even gave me the number to dial to p.a.m.  They said they don't offer a pam plan on those phones either, that's why they don't charge for it.  It's not illegal just because they don't offer it, and were not talking a couple/few months...
Were talking 3 years going on 4....Hours at a time, uploading and downloading.

If I were doing something wrong, they would have terminated my contract a few years ago.  They probably would have even tried charging me.
If your scared, be scared and don't do it.
Personally, I love this feature.  Comes in handy when the cable company shuts you off just because your payment hasn't posted...Then give you the runaround on why your not up and running when your payment does finally post, lol. Working midnights can get boring, and I'm online most early morning hours too.  Have been for years.

I've been using PAM since I had my Treo 600.  That would be around 3-4 years.  I use it especially when I travel out of town and don't have internet connection where I'm staying.  Right now, I'm at my mother-in-law's home in north Texas.  It's a lot easier plugging in my Instinct to my Mac and using the internet that way.  I could do exactly the same thing using only the Instinct.  However, using the computer certainly gives me a lot more room to type.  Does it really matter to Sprint?  I'd be using exactly the same bandwidth, I'd guess.

Thanks for your advice Grin Ive been on other forums about the same subject and none of them had a strait forward answer. Oh yeah, the plan is amazing.  With my employer's discount, we get a nice discount on the $130 monthly charge.
