i commute via bus to work, and from time to time i see iphone kids listening to music and whatnot. enter my instinct with a moto s9 (blue). you could almost smell the jealously when they take a look to see there are no wires, and their device just cant be that cool. LOL. i have to say, the sound is very good for bluetooth. its true what they say, once you go wireless, you can never go back! i cant wait til video via bluetooth gets fixed Smiley

Hey....HT820 rock loud...and they don't look too big... curious people are always asking me about em, and once they hear them....oh yeah... I'm cool, lol....don't let the size factor scare you away...and from feedback, if you go S9 ...go HD...the origioal aren't near as loud

I use my S9s and instinct every single morning at the gym, absolutely love it,and they are plenty loud. Although I would like to check out the hds, I have the originals.
Can iphone not use stereo bt? I would have thought that would be an automatic feature in a phone like that, if that is the case just another reason the iphone sucks Cheesy

I like my S9 set for the freedom (thank God for AD2P) and the volume. While it would have probably murdered battery life, more bass would be a highly welcomed addition. Of course, when I'm recharging the S9, I get sufficient thump out of my backup Sony earbuds.

I just got the S9-HD for my birthday and paired it to the instinct... the sound is OHH MY GOSH clear and precise.  The only issue I have right now is the microphone seams to not work.  Is there a trick to making this happen so I can use it for calls, and not just a headset?  Thanks.

I love my S9-HDs. Sound is very, very, good. And I can leave my Intinct in the middle of my house and walk all around without issues. Mine works great for calls, never had a problem. And being able to control song skip and volume through the headset is awesome.
If you can swing it I highly reccomend a pair.

I can't get my S9 HD to play music.  It works fine for phone calls, but that's it.  I've seen this on other sites too with no resolution.

Anyway have any suggestions?  Is there a setting on the phone I'm missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm by no means an expert, but it sounds like the cause of both your problems is only one BT profile is being used at a time (phone headset in one case, AD2P in the other) instead of both. I couldn't even begin to offer a solution for that, sorry. But hopefully that will help someone else skilled in the art of the bloo toofus.

just to update from my last post here, my S9s have begun shorting out over the last few weeks from sweat. It gets extremely annoying when I am working out and the volume starts going down on it's own and I am not able to turn it back up, sometimes it will just start going back a track or forward a track and there is really nothing I can do about it. The only upside to this is the next day after they have dried out they work fine again. most days they work ok, but it has been happening a lot more recently, and now the status light on the back doesn't work at all.
I will be purchasing a pair of the Jaybirds 200s within the next month, I have heard nothing but good when it comes to sweat resistance and comfort while working out with these.
I have also read that the s9 HDs are having similar problems, if you are not going to be working out, or if you aren't really a sweaty person I would still recommend the S9s, but if you are going to be seating or even out in the rain with these get the jaybirds.
