Ok, it's a known fact that I have badmouthed Sprint a zillion times in this forum and others.  It's time for me to shut up and tip my hat to Sprint and Seven for the remarkable update they did today, 12/4.  The email-calendar update may not be perfect (listen to those without OWA), but it is truly amazing.  I am happy I did not give up on the Instinct.  Though the calendar sync is not ideal, it is enough for me to shut my big mouth up.

Congratulations to Sprint and Seven for this much needed upgrade!  Now, let's get the Exchange email to show all mailboxes on the Instinct!  Smiley

Feel lucky I've tried to get the update today about ten times.  Every time it either gives me an error message or says the network is too busy try again later.  Angry

Well, and I even got my update at home.  Though I had full bars, I use an Airave at home.  Sometimes these large updates are finicky.  Yes, I'm lucky about getting the update and the fact the calendar is a very nice addition!

Rub it in why don't you HAHAHA

Glad it's working for you.

I just refuse to try to do my Work info. But for now the Onboard Calender is working for me so I won't push it until I have to.

I did notice all 3 of my E-mails are now pushing ,My hotmail is taking a bit longer but still is working before only one worked on it's own or they took forever to do so.

Going along what IamNoPrince mentioned:  I am noticing that my emails are pushing very smooth now, and I am not having to refresh and wait and see the annoying connection errors anymore.  Maybe the update had something to do with that.

I don't care about emails.  In fact I have mine turned off.  But it's surely sweet to have my calendar at my fingertips.  You guys know well how much I craved that working capability on the Instinct.  I'm in dog heaven! (And this is my 1,001 post in this forum.)

I activated my OWA account for the first time on Instinct today simply cause I wanted to see what this update was all about. Accessing it was easy and I soon saw the Calender. I will use my work calender all the time now as a result. I don't like the fact that the buzz...vibration alert seems to be missing though!!  Cry

Wink I agree this is great, but I do have one (actually two) little issues.  If I enter an event on my Instinct, it will sync with Outlook but then disappear on the phone.  Anyone, have the same issue.  Also, my work email isn't working??  I had to do the non-OWA.  I have web access to my work email, but my server address didn't work.  I'm wondering if it is a network administrator issue (#2)  Any thoughts?

I have had neither of those problems.  I've made an entry yesterday using the Instinct.  It appeared on my desktop calendar and also remained on the Instinct.  I'll keep checking to make sure it's there.  Also my Exchange email is working just fine so far.
