What? I don't understand, you dropped the phone or you didn't? please clarify your story and question.

I have this problem as well although it has nothing to do with droping the device.  I set my parental controlls  with a 4 digit code  and then   go to unlock it days later to find that my code no longer works.. I called telus and they told me to take it to the store i got it from and they'll send it to be fixed.   LOL   all u have to do is reset the phone and its fixed   but you'll lose all your contacts!

Back-up your contacts via BT to another phone or Microsoft Outlook, or BitPim if you are clever enough.

I've had the same problem.  I set the parental control to not allow web access and less than 5 minutes later it wouldn't take the code I had put in.  Frustrating!  I contacted Telus and they don't have a code to unlock it- they said I have to send it in and reset the phone.  I, too, am hoping to find another solution.

Yes, everything is supposed to be reset to factory conditions.
I also cannot reset it myself because I cannot unlock the parental control.  That's what Telus wants you to send it away to get done- a total reset.
