Hey guys, so i e-mail an exec at Telus (Darren W.) and now his assistant from the Telus Exec. something team just left me a voicemail and wants me to call them back tomorrow to discuss the issues with my Samsung Instinct, so i was wondering if you guys would like to list any specific things i should say.

obvious ones i will be saying are:
- video button
- keyboard fix
- mr2 update <-- we need one like sprint
- how to update/will there be updates...

so gimme more problems with this phone and i will discuss them all! We will finally be heard, so use this chance to get all your suggestions out!

Ask why they block the installation of any and all third-party apps, even ones that don't access any "dangerous" parts of the phone, when the phone is fully capable of running them and their competitors (Bell, Sasktel) and Sprint do allow it.

Robert Wells from Telus called me as well. He called me due to my BBB complaint with the Telus Instinct.

He has asked me to email him with a list of problems as he considered me a "Technical" user. I have searched the site for a list of problems, but haven't found a complete list.

If anyone can find a list, please point me in the right direction. Otherwise we can compile a list now.

lol have fun i sent in a list of complaints a few weeks ago, just got called back from telus today about my BBB complaint i filed last week shes gonna call me back tomorrow with more info, but she has someone looking into a software update for the list i sent in hopefully something positive gets done with it

My biggest problem with Telus so far is the lack of updates and the included video button.

You should have heard the conversation change after i explained the fact that Telus offers video downloads as a value added feature to your contract, but doesn't offer any software on the phone to play them.

The tech was speechless at that point.

i dunno if you know this or not but you can send a text message up to 1000 characters by using the picture message way. search for more info

Theres a silent mode its on the side of the phone where you contoll the ringer volume

theres more then enough things wrong with the instinctt with telus honestly because we all bought the instinct thinking it will live up to as shown on commercials so how can telus destroy the t.v, internet youtube, and stuff
