This is how I uploaded a video to my YouTube account.

First, I converted the video file to a 3GP file and copied it to the Media folder on the phones card.
I clicked on the YouTube Fun icon.
Clicked on Go To Site and logged in.
Clicked on Upload video, and it gave me an address to send an email to.
Clicked on the address and attached the 3GP file to the email and sent it.

It uploaded the 3GP file to my YouTube account and I waited for the site to process the file.

After a few minutes, the video was there...

It would be easy to have an UPLOAD VIDEO button on the phone, just like we have an UPLOAD PICTURE button... YouTube is more video than pictures....

Hope this may help someone else out...

You CAN upload directly to YouTube... There's a button for it!  Smiley

First, set-up your YouTube preferences, with your Log-In/Password, etc...

Take a Video

Open "My Photos" and find your video

Click on it

The bottom right icon is a little square with 2 people and an "arrow" in the upper right

Click that, and it gives you the option to upload to YouTube!

Hope that helps...

bluesti:

That works for photos... not videos.

I cannot access my videos from the MY PHOTOS button, and there is no little people with an arrow icon under the TV/VIDEO button, where my videos are stored.

How do you get your VIDEO under the My Photo area?

.... I see.. I can record a vid directly from the camera.. beforehand I copied a vid from my computer to the phone and prob placed it into a folder that can only be accessed from the TV MENU... Thats why there is no way to upload a video from there.. I need to find the folder that I can access from the Photo button...

I would not upload a video striaght from my phone to youtube. It gets compressed horrible quality and if sent directly from phone to youtube the audio is cut off and all you will hear are strange noises. Just drag it to your pc and convert it to a youtube format then upload it for best quality.

Always a lot of good info here, but sometimes not quite detailed. So, how do you convert the video file from the instincts format to a youtube format?
