photo viewer scrolling is slow

I just side loaded about 56 picture
and was looking through them
and noticed that it's slow.

I don't mean just loading them up slowly but
sliding my finger to get to the next picture,
it has a very noticeable delay before the next
picture slides in.

I am using the original memory card (have the 8 gig on order)
could this be the problem or is it something else.

And sorry all it seems I do is come on the forums with something
else that seems a little off, but I still love the phone just hope
the updates will make thing a little smoother.

It shouldn't take 200mhz just to scroll through photos.  Also considering it's less crash prone and not as slow if you have less photos in that folder,  it's very likely it's a poorly written, poorly optimized photo app.

If you put a huge number of photos in a folder the phone will refuse to open the folder completely, meaning you can't access your photos on the phone at all (or delete or move them).  It basically renders the entire folder useless unless you modify it on a PC.  Perhaps they shouldn't try to load every photo in the folder right away...
