The video im trying to send is less than 5 seconds long
i recorded it from my instinct and when i go to
"main,email,compose,attach file,video,camera"
Nothing is there??
is it something to do with the memory card or phone itself?

It works okay for me. Are you able to see the video file and view it when you go to My Photos / Camera?  If so, the card is fine.

If it's only 5 seconds, just send it from the camera screen...if the persons phone can't read it, they should get a link to view it online anyways...

I can't send my wife a video longer than 20 seconds, her phone won't open it, she just goes online and opens it that way.
