Hey everyone... I organized pictures from my laptop into different folders to put on my phone... everything worked great when syncing my phone to my laptop. However, I spelt one of my folders, "Costa Rica", wrong. I went back to my computer and changed the folder's name to correct the spelling. I also deleted a folder called "pics4phone" and "from pc" from my laptop while my phone was connected to my laptop. However, now I have three empty picture folders, called "CostaRican2008", "pics4phone", and "from pc" that are on my phone, and I have no idea how to delete them. When I plug in my phone to my laptop, they do not show up, only the folders with pictures in them. How do I get rid of these empty, useless folders? It's kind of annoying.

Thanks!  Smiley

I also cannot select the folders on my phone without getting the "no media file" error message. I don't know what else to do and could appreciate the help unless others are having this issue.

Thanks again,
Steven

Have you tried to remove the MSD card and reinsert it.

Also go and Delete all Temporary files as well from general settings.

Is that option under the phone's settings because I don't see it? Sorry if I sound like an idiot with this. Thanks Smiley

Do the   E-mail main Page > Settings > Remove Temp files

Then go to Main > Settings > Web Browser > Clear Cache/Cookies/History

This might free up memory that's needed to buffer to the Memory card.

Then check what your reading by going  Main page> settings > general> Memory Status.

Thanks for the tips. It did free up some space but the stupid, empty folders are still there under "my photos". Oh well... I'm just being OCD about it. Thanks though Smiley

I've noticed that when you have your phone connected to your computer and edit anything on the memory card that sometimes you need to do a soft reset in order for those changes to take effect (picture rotations...etc). Your answer might be that simple. Just restart the phone.

Thanks guys.... I put the memory card into the adapter and directly into the laptop...from there I can delete, add, and rename folders and files much much easier than using sprint media manager. I very much prefer organizing files this way, except I can't seem to add videos using this method. I'm assuming it's because the video files are converted when you add them to sprint's media manager. Anyway, thanks for the advice and help! Smiley
