Has anyone else experienced this problem? When I go to Settings>General>Phone Information> the phone just up and resets itself. My little brother has the same phone and is having the same problem.

I had this problem too.  I did a factory reset on the phone and the problem was fixed....but to be honest it just wasn't worth losing all my contacts/calander/texts.  I believe the problem has to do with the Handmark applications screwup about a month back.  Try updating the handmark applications via http://www.sasktel.com/instinct-update (from your cell phone web browser).  If this doesn't fix your problem you can always try a factory reset but like I said, I don't think it is worth it.

I installed the Sasktel Handmark update, and my phone still resets upon going into that menu.

So that's not a fix. Yeah, I don't think it would be worth it to factory reset just to have that option back.

Hey guys, I know your with Sasktel, But chec out this movement we got going on with Bell in terms of trying to get an update. A couple of us including myself have direct contact to A Bell Customer Relations Executive named Helena, I know this is Bell we're talking but, try doing what we did with Sasktel and get the complaints going around. Mind you I think if Bell comes out with an update so will Sasktel.

Bell already is two updates ahead of us, with no tech admitting (to me, anyway) that an update is forthcoming

No tech I have talked to either is aware of any problems with the phone or an ETA on an update.  So don't worry it's not just you.

Oh I am worried, worried that they will let this phone continue into obscurity while they push other phones out. I am keeping my campaign for weekly calls until they are sick of me. If at least a partial update comes to fix the 4 main problems (browser/push email/LCDUI keyboard/random rebooting) than I am good enough to love this phone again.

PS, you are never go to get push email on the instinct. because if it were to get push email they would have to start charging you smartphone prices for Data. And even if you were willing to pay more, I don't think other people would be too happy about it.

I can get SMS message from Gmail on the instinct, it just doesnt work quite properly yet. I am ok with this way, as that is all I would need for notifications.
