Are you trying to turn it off?? If so it's because it is under ##debugmenu# not ##debug# :-)

Yah with the s30 you cant aces NAI via all the tutorials on the forums here which tell you to open it through the ##debugmenu#

You have to do it just like you said, which I havent been sucessfull yet, i feel im close. It may be something blocked on sprints end tho with my plan being unlimited.

I setup my dialer on my pc and it dials, but errors out code #67 (i think) and referes to the inncorrect user name and password. So not sure yet whats going on.

I will say, since ive been doing this, things have been screwy on my phone. Ill ad an entry to my contacts and it will for w/e reason overwrite some contact of mine with a phone number. I also noticed a contact of mine not even having a number on it. I had to retrieve the number by looking into my history, it would show the contact name, and show their number stored there...

As well, I think I remember turning this on somewhere but for the life of me i cant remember where, my phone beeps every 50secs when im on a call.... I do remember turning on a setting that I thought would tell you when you have used your mins, perhaps it said it will tell you when youve used a min. Or something to that effect, but i cant find this setting anywhere!!!

i said cdma i meant qpst ... under software registration... when you go to phone book.. if you tweaked anything there it could have messed with.. hopefully you used mobile sync and you can simply erase the numbers on your phone and asked it to resync

Ive posted links to the proper walk through guide in this thread,
http://www.instinct-samsung.com/index.php?topic=1087.new#new

Just look at my posts, its only a few.

However currently, its not working i think they have released an update to block it. Im going to look into the updates released and see about possibly rolling back to a previous version, because i did have it working on the s30.

Well my s30 PAM works now. I really cant tell you what went wrong, it just was all jacked up or something....

http://rs339.rapidshare.com/files/267685390/s30_How_To.zip

That link has a walk thru pdf and all the files you need to do it.

Ive seen a few other walk throughs which for some reason tell you to install an older prl version then update it, which just puts the current one back on so that makes no sense.

As well I have discovered that ##134687# then enter 5555555555 for phone number then 5555555555 for msid number will reset s***. Then redo it again with your actual number for both # and msid#. This got my auto updates working which led to me getting PAM to work.

your MSID is not your phone number. you are going to have to call sprint and have them reactivate your phone. the same process as when you first got the phone. hope you get it sorted out
