FWIW, I watched Mossberg's review of the Instinct on the WSJ site. I decided to email him with a few issues I had with his review....namely that he does a head to head with the new iPhone even though he's never used or demoed the new iPhone. He said his policy is not to comment on products that he hasn't used and then he does just that. Also, he brings up the lack of wi-fi and makes a big deal about this feature.

He made a lengthy reply to me which I'm impressed he took the time. I enjoy his column, but this time he comes across as a shill for iPhone while he's reviewing the Instinct.

Once he gets the iPhone, he'll realize that the wi-fi feature is overrated for a cell phone.

I'll tell you this once that phone drops in the stores im buying it... Speaking of the samsung instinct.. Honestly if samsung didnt go and come out with commercials to go directly at iphone... I bet the phone would of been rated way better considering it wasnt trying to fight up and heads up with Iphone... But since they decided to go heads up.... They dug their own hole in the ground.. and burried themselves inside it... Honestly I love the fact that they went heads up with apple.. because of apples price cuts on the apple iphones... The samesung instinct phone gets way cheaper for us...

Its funny how this world works sometimes... doesnt it? lol

My only issue with Instinct (besides what everyone says about the weak browser) is that it's not made by Sanyo. IMHO, Sanyo makes the best cell phones and they would've done an incredible job with a touchscreen phone as well.

I think the instinct is awesome... i mean yeah the browser doesnt do the job the best.. but itstill does the job.. you'll still end up reading the same information... they're coming out with a SDK for the instinct to and i think the instinct will end up being an awesome phone the two features that i love is the sirius radio live tv... and it has video recording for all you iphone loving people out there....

Yes, it's the same information. The difference is how quickly you can get to relevant information and how it's presented to you.
