I was revisiting this site out of curiosity to see if the Instinct has received updates from Sprint/Samsung and thought I should comment on this post.

Though the points you make MAY be valid they sure do not support your thread title.

I had the Instinct for 2 weeks and then returned it for the 3g which I have had also for 2 weeks.  For me, all I can say is the Iphone 3g is WORLDS above Instinct in usability and speed.  There is no real comparison....and the apps that I have been downloaded (only the free ones so far) have worked fabulously.   One is a PHONE with some nice multimedia and I won't argue that Instinct's GPS is MUCH better and voice commands are sharp but the IPHONE is a true PDA.  The Safari application alone is enough to put the iphone above the instinct.

All I know is that I can use my Iphone at any moment and know it will work for what I need.  I couldn't do that with the instinct (except GPS)
We're happy you are enjoying your new phone. If you have not found a new forum for your phone, may I suggest one ? http://www.3g-iphones.org/
