Yeah, shoot even if retention decides to not give you a discount, you can easily cancel and go the best buy route, thats still 329.99!

Yea BestBuy has it listed for $599.99  so I don't see tha as a bargin.  But I know they inflate the highly discount even without a 2 year agreement

I think you misunderstood.  if a person cancels their Sprint account because they are 6 months within the contract, hence they cannot buy the phone for 129.99, and can only get it at 449.95 or as you said 599.95 through best buy, what they can do is cancel their Sprint contract, pay 200 for the ETF, and then just create a new account through Best Buy for 129.99

So therefore you're paying 329.99, and its really no hassle at all.  It actually can be all done in 20 mins.

If you're afraid of losing your number, well have no fear, if are eligible for more than one line, just purchase a second line through best buy and get the phone for 129.99, when it comes swap it out for the phone number on account you want to keep, and then cancel the new sprint account created, which is 200 ETF.

so therefore its 329.99  and all perfectly legal.

If you tell a sprint rep this I am sure they'll work with you on bringing it down so you don't even have to do that!  But just in case you get somoene who just cannot or will not do it for what ever reason it is.

So I hope that clarifies what I was referring to.

Cheers!

You are correct and I Just the other day suggested someone do the same thing.  You can even Port to a Prepaid phone to keep your number that way as well.

I must have been sleep deprived yesterday and not thinking.

Thanks.

ah no problem, that happens man.

hey your right about the prepaid method as wel, i didn't even think of that one, i actually was going to do this method that i mentioned for my wifes phone and I didn't wanna whine to sprint because I know what its like and I wanted to play it fair and square so I told sprint my intentions and they brought it down for me so I ended up saving more than that even.

I think they gave it to me for 229 without the mail in rebate (which is still an AWESOME deal), I am sure I could have pushed it further but I like to play it fair and not lie about what I want, thats the best thing to do in my opinion, these guys work real hard,, and as much as people say their customer service isn't great, they're just doing their job and making an income just like the rest of us.

later man
