i have a ministry and i use my pop 3 account on my phone without connecting to my computer, i set it up rather easy using the instinct email features.  all you have to do is go to email settings add new scroll down to other, and choose pop account then inter in your user/pass and the in and out  which mine is pop.secureserver.net and out is smtpout.secureserver.net and keep ports same, and wallah it is set up, standard i think mine checks like 2 hours but i can hit refresh anytime to check it faster, it also works well with gmail/hotmail/att/  if you have a pop account just check what your in and out is and your golden.
