I didn't take my USB cable with me to work today, so I can't do anything right now, but I'm 95% confident by modifying the above procedure jar files will load too, I tested by copying the telus ones and got duplicates, but havent' tried a file from anywhere else.

Your phone has to be in mdm mode, and you have to have the USB drivers installed, either download sprint media manager (workes even if your on telus, search the forum for a link to it) or find the drivers directly (harder, I just got the media manager).

Once installed, when you plug in your phone it will show 2 ports on bitpim (goto edit then settings then browse where it says com port, select the one that says "samsung mobile modem diagnostic serial port" (at least on telus and my phone that's the one that bitpim uses, if not try the regular modem port) and hit ok, change your phone to "Other CDMA" and hit ok, and that should work for you.

Corellon: I just tried editing and copying files over for the Solitaire game that I pulled from *****, but I was unsuccessful. After the phone reboot, it didn't get rid of the files I added, but they didn't show up in the games section either.

Hopefully you'll have more luck than me!

Corellon - - - i did what u said, downloaded sprint media manager.. i did everything, when i click Filesystem, it just says  "Retreiving..." then on the bottom "Reading phone file system".. it just does that for like 60secs, then nothing happens.
So meaning, its not reading the phone. This is weird because it read my Rarz phone perfectly.

Karan_23: Did you swith your phone to modem mode? you can do so by dialing ##usb#... the phone should say: Information: Default USB to: MDM. The other thing you can look at is in your device manager. Under the Ports category, you should see SAMSUNG CDMA Modem Diagnotic Serial Port (WDM) (COM#).

If you don't see this, then you probably have a driver issue or your phone isn't connecting properly. Another thing you want to make sure is that in your phone, HOME > Settings > General, the Connect to PC button is set to OFF.

Let us know if this solves it for you or not.

ok... then either you have a driver issue, or your phone has the Connect to PC button set to On...

I can't really tell you which drivers to use as I'm running Vista and everything just installed on its own. I did notice however that if you are set to On on the Connect to PC option, you don't get that Ports category in the Device Manager.

After you change to from USB to modem mode, you have to unplug the phone, replug it (as also mentioned, the phone can not be set to "connect to pc".

Also make sure the sprint media manager isn't running.

This might sound stupid, but did you try restarting your computer? I did see it show up as inoperable on mine the first time I installed the drivers. The next day, I could use that port...

This isn't working for me...it keeps deleting the files and I'm copying them pretty much 100%? When i upload the gc file it comes up as 10.gc.mp3
