Has anyone with either Telus or Bell been able to successfully play sideloaded videos on their Instinct? I've tried several conversion programs and have yet to get a video to play. This seems to be one of the best tutorials to use:

http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166135

If you scroll down on the page in the link, it shows a youtube video of the movie they converted playing on the Instinct. It looks great! I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if it's another Telus error with the Instinct.

**EDIT** here's the movie playing on the Instinct.

Yes.

Nice. I can't seem to get them to play full screen with videora. Well, I can't get them to play at all after converting. No matter what the program. Ha ha. Are you with Bell or Telus?

I'm with Bell.

Oh ok. What settings do you use with Videora to get the video to play in full screen on the Instinct.

Thanks.

It's all on that page. It tells you which format to use.

I tried it again. No dice. Has anyone with Telus been able to get sideloaded videos to work properly?

I have, but since Telus has no video app on the Instinct, I had to load it into the Saved folder (camera) and play it out of My Album > Saved.  Videora and Handbrake also didn't work for me.  The videos, when loaded onto the instinct, only showed exclaimation marks.  Plato seemed to get the videos right and played on the Instinct, but the volume seemed low on some videos and very loud on others.

Exactly. Nothing but exclamation marks.

What's 'Plato?'

What's 'Plato?'

Its another video converter like handbrake and videora.  It was the third one I tried and so far the only one that would convert the videos so that it would play on the Instinct.  I'm not sure if the other ones would have worked if Telus gave us a real video application instead of having us use the camera album to play them.

Ha ha. Exactly! I tried Plato yesterday. Once again, no dice. Here's hoping the update comes soon enough.
