Hi, I saw sprint users can used Google map and a dictionary (downloaded on getjar.com) But each times I tried to download both app I had the same problem message ''error 905 Attribute mismatch'' ... WTF?

Why the sprint users can used these apps but the Canadian users can't ?  I know between the sprint, bell or telus there's difference... But we aren't supposed to have the same phone ?

Any other canadian user has the same problem ?

If you want tro try :
Go on wap.getjar.com -> quick download -> 31535 (google map) or 20451 (the dictionary)

Btw, this isn't a thread about how bell or telus suck so don't waste your time about it.

How to install apps if you are in canada

By the way google maps app will not work because of a keyboard issue widely discussed in the general forum. There is a fix coming in a month or two.

My english is so bad? Because I never talk about how to install apps if i'm in canada....

If you look the general forum as you said you surely see this thread http://www.instinct-samsung.com/index.php/topic,4676.0.html ... You can have a so-so version of google maps ...

And for the dictionary there's also a thread about....

Did you read my post? I know how to install app... And also you can't instal getjar.com apps with rumkin because there's a jad and a jar file .... common man you should read before post...

Did you try downloading the jar and jad files to your PC then just uploading the jar to your phone using rumkin? The jad shouldn't be needed.

I re-downloaded the app, I get it to launch now but I can't click on I Agree! I assume due to the keyboard issue.

My question is: does Gmaps use DATA as apposed the Web? since the fun packs only include Web access and not Data?  I would  use GPS Nav but it just plain doesn't work!

I did it from my phone:

Open wap.GetJar.com with your mobile -> Quick Download -> enter Quick Download Code 31657

First time I downloaded it, it didn't work, I can't get past the EULA now lol.

Without the LCDUI Update you will not be able to use app's such as Google Maps. It's one of the fixes Sprint is working on and one we are trying to get Bell to fix as well.
