I have the instinct from Telus, but for the life of me, I can't find the CD it came with.  I've searched online, but can't find the files required to connect it to my PC, can anyone help?
This post is from elsewhere on the Canadian board, credit for this goes to airbag :

3. Make sure you have the phone drivers installed.

Canadian users - to install the drivers for the instinct you have to install the sprint media manager. It comes with the drivers. Once installed, uninstall the media manager and leave the drivers on.

Dowload media manager here:

Thanks for that.

So it doesn't matter that I'm on telus, sprint drivers will work?

It shouldn't, it's a Samsung driver. That post was pulled from the Canadian board, so folks there have had it work.

I'm with Bell in Ottawa, and it worked the first time.

I'm running Vista, and after connecting my Instinct to my computer, and selecting 'connect to PC', my computer recognized my phone immediately.

This only gives you access to the microSD card, of course. Nothing else.

In fact, I'm not sure what it would detect if you do not have your microSD card in your phone at the time...

EDIT: I didn't mean to say that my computer recognized that it had a 'Samsung Instinct' hooked up to it; rather, it merely recognized the existence of a 2GB Samsung microSD drive.

I dont think there is suppose to be any software that comes with it, just grab the Sprint Media Manager from the poster above.

Try this...worked for me...had the problem too and I'm with Telus
- First activate the option "Connect To PC" from your phone...
- Then you'll get a message saying you need to connect the phone to USB port...
- So right when you see that message plus the USB cable...

I was talking to techs at Samsung and they told me that you can download Samsung PC Studio 3 and Instinct drivers from Samsung Canada web site. I installed the software but was unable to connect to my Instinct. Let me know if you guy get it working.

manak, I have the same issue as you.  I've also tried it on 2 different computers.  This phone sucks without the basic feature of syncing with Outlook (nevermind having it sync wirelessly).

Thanks JoshB, Thats where i got the drivers from, but i still can't sync my instinct with my pc, using PC Studio. I have no problem syncing with Bitpim and MicroSD card. The reason i want to sync with PC studio is that the techs at Samsung told me that i can update my firmware with PC studio and it can refresh my instinct.
