You need the cd that comes with the phone. I would go to Sprint and see if they have an extra one or just give you one. If not I would call Samsung.         Lets us all know how that goes.                                   Blazers out.

I was able to transfer it with Connect to PC...

From memory, this is how to do it...
1) Settings
2) General
3) Connect to PC (Slide the bar over to the left)
4) It will auto install it and you can view the folder with files

You can go to the sprint site and get their instinct media manager program(or something like that).  I tried it at work and it transfers pics, movies and songs.  Off topic I have an Imac and home and use bluetooth to transfer files to it.

Sprint users seriously need to realize that we don't have Sprint in Canada. Ours didn't come with software.

You don't need to be a sprint user to use the sprint software. The link for the software is here http://www4.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/support/downloads/index.jsp Then you get to have your cake and eat it too. You can use tools like CDMA software or the actual sprint manager, or you can follow leons tips above to access the memory card. Both work for me and I am with Bell.

I just signed up for the Samsung under Bell and tried the Sprint Media Manager and had no luck.  I set the phone to 'connect to pc' launched the software and it still does not find it.  Does this really work and if so does anyone have anything I can try?

The media manager does not work when you put your phone in connect to pc mode. Just leave your phone in normal mode, connect it to your computer, then run the media software. It should work.

if you do not have connect to pc turned on though your computer does not see the phone as removable storage.  So how do you get around this?

If you install the Sprint software correctly, it will see recognize the Instinct in regular phone mode. Make sure the software is installed, plug the phone in, and run the software.

I have the instinct from Telus, but for the life of me, I can't find the CD it came with.  I've searched online, but can't find the files required to connect it to my PC, can anyone help?
