hello there, im a new bell instinct owner and im having a little bit of difficult running some third party applications i downloaded. the applications i run perfectly but my only issue is allowing them to access to network. for example everytime i zoom in or out in the Mobile Gmap it always ask me if i want to allow application to acces to network and that is really annoying because sometime it ask like 3 or 4 times one after another. so is there any way to dissable that or allow my applications to run without having to click "accept this time" 3 times in a row? any help would be appreciated guys. thank you in advance.

Instead of "Accept this time" hit "Accept always."  You hitting that button is only allowing to accept always for that particular application.

Mobiel Gmaps would like to acces network:
No, not this timeFailed to enable
Allow this time
Never allow

I only get this options, there is not accept always or anything else. so i was thinking maybe there is something i have to enable or disable in the settings of the phone

I have this issue as well and like you say you have no option to "Accept always". Was hoping for an answer on this as well Smiley

Hmm that's really weird.  I don't think it should be different for Sprint Users.  Let me try downloading something that uses a certificate and see what happens.

I erased and re downloaded the same applications in which it asked me before but the certificates are already saved so unable to get the option again.  I'll keep looking though.  Sorry I can't help anymore as of now.

It seems for some reason the Bell Instinct does not give you the option to Accept always. Seems like a very odd option not to be active. I have had this same issue with other applications as well.

Try this.  It gives me the option on my phone so hopefully it's the same for yours.  Go into the "Fun" tab.  Click "Games/Apps".  Go to the application you're having problems with and click the ">" arrow on the right side of the app name.  Go to "settings".  After clicking on settings click on "Permissions".  You should have 2 options.  "Push Registry" and "Network."  Click network and three options should come up.  "Always Allow" ; "Ask each time" (Which it is probably already on) ; and "Never allow."  Click on Always allow and see if it still gives you problems.

Hopefully it works for the Bell users.  Let me know.

Yes all of this works but.... I laugh cause If I don't I might do something to me phone I will regret later.

Only gives us Bell users two options:

Ask Each Time
Never Allow

Why they would disable this option is well beyond me!

I was annoyed by the same issue so I edited _policy.txt file to allow permissions for all applications by default.
Search the forum for instructions, it is pretty easy.
