The best way to get FREE ringtones!

I didn't see any ringtone related tutorial on here so I wrote one up!


Here is the best way to get ringtones from your iTunes!

1. Open GarageBand.

2. Within GarageBand you can search for the song you would like to use or simply drag it from iTunes into GarageBand's timeline.

3. Find the section you would like to use and trim the song. (I don't know the maximum ringtone length for our phone. Command + T is the cutting shortcut)

4. Cut out the rest of the music that you won't be using.

5. Click on the share tab and send it to iTunes. (MP3 format)

6. The trimmed song will now appear in your Itunes.

7. Locate the song. (Right click and select show in finder for a faster search)

8. Use Rumkin to send it to your phone. (http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/)

9. It is that easy!

That works as well but this way it keeps the nice clean quality.

i still use myxer. but if the quality is something ur worried about u can also just make the ringtone in ur itunes. its really the same thing and u dont need to use garage band

quicktime pro has this ability too
