my mobile me account works perfectly on my Instinct.

There's also a program called Spanning Sync that syncs google calendar with ical

haven't played with it yet.

So the me.com emails get sent into the "IM & Email" section? Is it still an extra charge to use that feature?

No extra charge. Just add account to email under "other".

Mine works just fine.
