I transfered music files from my iTunes folder on my Mac (iMac, Leopard)
to my Instinct via Bluetooth. Some are OK, other are either missing the artwork
others have the names changes once on the phone (French and German characters from the Mac are not recognized by the Samsung Instinct which replaces the accentuated characters with squares). What can i do about this text conversion problem?.

Also, When I managed to connect my phone with a USB cable* and I transfert directly to the phone files, these files cause APPLICATION ERROR on the Instinct.

*(USB CONNECTION:  The trick to make this work is that as soon as the instinct drive icon appears on screen, you have to open folders immediately and start copying, it seems that as long there is activity between the Mac and the Instinct the USB connection will stay active and functional). But files transfered this way cause problems on the Instinct (no artwork for some, characters all wrong, foreign characters not recognized I don't know why!).

Anyone has ever experience these problems and are there any solutions (besides getting an iPhone ....) And because of all this and the cheap music functions of the Instinct for those used to iPods like me, I regret deeply not having bought an iPhone. Now I'm stuck with a 2 years contract with this amateurish phone. And I won't talk about the bad sliding effect when you go through a list of songs. It is very slow and painful. But hey, It's cheaper, I saved a few bucks...

Thanks

I am doing it with USB. It is not working. It disconnets. I called sprint. They called samsung  and they said Samsung doesnt work with Mac.
I did the same thing a year ago, and everything was working fine. Can you help?
I read on another thread that you can do it with help of a couple  of softwares. One was called switch. Well, i followed through as the guy had said but in the middle of his directions, he said i need another software but i was not able to download it. Can you help?
