Ok so I'm a little behind the times and new to this whole connect to blue tooth thing. I own a macbook and tried to connect it to my phone based on what you guys put but I couldn't figure it out. How do I make the phone discoverable? Can somebody walk me through this step by step? It would be greatly appreciated!

Go into Main | Settings | Bluetooth and select Visibility. You have the option of Always visible, Visible for 3 minutes or Hidden. (I've found that 3 minutes seems to work out OK for me)

If you want the phone to find something that's already in discoverable mode, you can select Trusted Devices from that same Bluetooth menu ... click on the + in the upper left and the Instinct will search for devices.

Can anyone show step by step dirctions on how to get phone and mac to pair using Lepord?
My computer can't find my phone but my phone can find my computer.  I am using a bluetooth mouse so my MacBook Pro BT is working.

I also need help transfering the address book contacts.  Anyone have luck with that?

The bluetooth pairing is exactly the same procedure you used for your mouse.  If at first it doesn't work, try again.  I remember I had to do my set-up 3 times for it to work my bluetooth headset.

As for the address book, I don't think there's a way.   I have not seen any answers on that.

hey, all. i just got m instinct today, and i greatly enjoy it. however, i am having problems connecting it to my powerbook on bluetooth. i have studied this page very closely, but i'm still coming up wit nothing.

i have a g4 powerbook (circa 2005) running tiger. both the phone and the computer are set to "viewable" but neither one seems capable of finding the other. i have re-tried in countles succession. am i doing something wrong?

thanks,

Yes, theres a way for that, try this, if u have a mac ill work. go to applications, select development and check the usb debugging  box, ill connect to the computer , make sure tha the samsung is in usb mass storage. try downloading -double twist- its an app for sync between mac and android, ill sync music, movies and photos
