Jawbone Bluetooth

I have the original Jawbone... Paired up fine.  The voice command thing works half the time.  Sometimes, it works flawlessly... and then sometimes I push the button on the Jawbone and a message pops up on the phone which says that it can't connect, but if i try it again right afterwards, it works... And then sometimes I put the button on the Jawbone and I hear the beep but nothing happens.  Overall, it works, but i have to look at the phone to make sure, since i only have about a 50% success rate to connect on the first try.

I have both the Jawbone 1 and the Jawbone 2.

When using the Jawbone 1, my callers hear themselves echo.
No issues with my Jawbone 2.

However, voice command is very difficult to hear.

  How do I pair the Jawbone ICON with my phone?

  Follow these steps to put the Jawbone ICON in pairing mode.

1. Start with the headset OFF (slide the power switch to OFF, the position where you cannot see the blue indicator).

2. Press and hold the TALK button

3. Slide the power switch ON.

4. Wait for  LED starts to flash red and white.

5.  Release the TALK button.

The headset is now in discovery or pairing mode.  On your phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for (or add) Bluetooth devices. When found, select Jawbone ICON. When prompted for a passkey, enter 0000.
