I have a motorola bluetooth S9 stereo headset. It is a small fantastic headset that lets you take calls (mono) and listen to the music player (stereo) with no wires of course. I would think that this would be the hottest selling item for MP3 players with bluetooth capability. Anyway, it works great with my phone execpt it does not work with the TV or Radio portion of the instinct unless you first plug in the wired headset, then turn on the bluetooth, then take the wired off. Very strange problem. So, I do not use the bluetooth with radio or tv since I do not carry around a wired set with me (defeats the freakin purpose of having a bluetooth). Anyway, if anyone knows of any fixes in development, please post here. Thanks

The solution you mentioned is the only work-around at the moment, unfortunately.  I also have the same that S9 and love it, but Sprint will need to do some update in its Bluetooth capabilities in the Instinct.

I have the same problem with my headset, except my phone calls are in stereo through the bluetooth. Also I have a problem if my phone is in the out of the box pseudo-leather case the audio cuts in and out. Am I alone on this? Is there a better worth the money case to buy with a space for the stylus? What I can't find is one of those arm band cases like the i-pods have. Do they make those type cases?

I have attached a link to the H700 manual below. What probably happened when you first charged it was that the headset had been drained for so long that it lost all of it's pairing information and acted as if it were new. As soon as you opened the boom it went into pairing mode.

The instructions to put the phone in pairing mode are fairly clear in the PDF. Also the pairing code for that headset is in fact '0000'. That code can not be changed so it is possible the headset simply timed out of pairing mode last time you tried it.
