I bought mine at Amazon.  They work nicely.  I especially enjoy the controls on the set; very handy.  The set can be tight around some people's head, but I enjoy the fact it stays put and rests on your ears.  Another thing I like is that the phones don't block the surrounding noise.  Though I like to listen to music or audio books, I prefer to be able to hear sounds around me, too.

Yes, it is not bad. Dell has it for $79.99, vs. the 89.99-99.99 that stores charge. The S9 is only good for streaming music. You will not get any volume coming out of the s9 via the online services such as:
sprint tv, music.
One cool features is when you receive a call, it has a audio caller id thru your headset. Also, when talking on the phone, it is mono, not stereo, and the call quality you are talking to is not that great.

My advice is to invest in a good pair of noise cancelling headphones instead, at least all the audio aspects of the phone will come out of the headphone.
Hope this helps.

I can hope someone can correct me.  The audio works fine (with exception of TV and Sprint Radio where we have a work around).

My problem with the headsets (Insignia and now the Motorokr S9) has been Hands Free functions.  I can pause the music no problem.  I can start it up.  I can answer an inbound call with no problem.

But I cannot initiate a Hands Free call without the Instinct being unlocked and in the phone menus.  When I am in that mode; I can play music, pause it, initiate a hands free voice activated function.  It works as if I was using the headset.

Is this the correct function of it?  Am I making a mistake?  Is there a setting in the phone I am missing?

Let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff Dean

 Tongue

Sorry my ignorance.  It will not work in locked mode because you have essentially blocked functionality.  Removing the lock and just having the power saver come on allows the phone to work fine.

My bad.  Or maybe it will help someone else.

Sorry again for my ignorance.  Undecided

Jeff

I just got the s9 for my Instinct. Mine won't answer incoming calls. Did you do something to tweak it? bgronner@prodigy.net
