coverage is great, firmware has been up to date . I get to go in on tuesday so they can reinstall the system software , I think and see if that fixes it. does anyone know if the s30 runs the same software just a different case?

This is what I ended up doing to fix it.  I went to Live Search, searched for a business, then clicked the "Car" icon to start navigation.  That cleared it up and it has been working fine since.

All of a sudden today the Nav stops working on my phone. Tried this out and so far it's working again. Great little trick  Cool

My navigation will work in the immediate area, but if I try to enter an address or search further than 20 miles I get an error message.  "TeleNav cannot generate route at this time. Please try again.(N2)".  Has anyone else seen this error or have any ideas.  I deleted Google Maps thinking that was the cause and also tried the live search trick and nothing helps.

Thanks to the internet and networking. I tried the Live Search too and now my GPS is back working. Just wanted to say thanks for putting the tip out there for the rest of us. Sprint customer service could not even get it to work!

I just subscribed to Sprint Nav(http://blog.telenav.com/blog/2009/09/traveling-this-labor-day-use-sprint-navigation-to-find-your-way/) (or TeleNav ) and was wondering if there was any way to plot additional routes while staying on your route?

I just found this and my navigation is working fine now, try it...
I tried to navigate to an address from one of my contacts (in my contacts list) and it did not freeze. Then I exiting out of the navigation app and it started working fine. Hope this helps anyone else having the same problem. Wink
