Yeah, it not only corrected the map rendering issue, the maps seem to load much faster, and are not as choppy during movement.

Do we know how offen the maps will be updated? I know regular GPS's are doing 4 map updates a year instead of one. Have the maps been updated at all? The map updates are free on the Instinct aren't they?

The instinct maps are loaded to the phone "live" via the network, so there are never any "map" updates for the phone, only software updates, and no, they do not charge for updates. I don't know how often the maps on the server are updated, but I have noticed that they seem to include some very recent road changes in my area. In fact, there is a new road that is not open yet that is now showing up. The problem with this is that the phone routes my trip using the new unopened road! I'm not complaining though, at least the maps LOAD now!

Me too, but this morning, the nav kept trying to rout me where no roads exist, kept freezing up, and appeared generally confused. I'm not sure why this happened today after working so well yesterday.
