That program doesnt have any GPS capabilities.  The poster is looking for a program that you can enter GPS cords and it will track you there.

I go geocaching with my instinct all the time, here is how. You need the policy hack, and a program called mgmaps. What you do is go on geocaching.com find the coordinates for the cache you would like to get, then plug them into google earth. On the grey square marker that pops up in google earth, right click it and save it as a .kml. Then put it on your phone somewhere. Then in mgmaps, go to "services" and "load kml", then browse for the kml. It should load it as a green marker and you're the blue marker, then you just start moving your body until pretty much the blue marker is on top of the green marker. Also, after the kml has loaded, go to "go to" and in the zoom level type in 17.

I agree +1

With a little reformatting that tip may be worthy of a sticky.

Thanks Jarrod!  I have mgmaps on my phone, but it never worked.  I downloaded the newest sprint gps version and it works great!  It even tracks my whereabouts and you can view them online!  So cool!

Thanks man!

Yes, if you hit the acutal button that says zoom, it will freeze. But, if you go to where it says "go to" and enter a number. If you do that, it shouldn't freeze.

True. It would be nice to zoom in and out while just viewing a map though.

Just wanted to say I've been trying to download a million different GPS programs to my phone, and 90% of them give me a 910 authorization failure....yes my handset is registered with sprint developer...says so on the site

And the ones that do download...dont have touch screen support and dont bring up the keyboard...so they are pointless.

And the ones that do have touch dont see the GPS!

The developer enabling only makes a difference if the app is signed with the Sprint WTK (and most third-party apps aren't).  Otherwise you will still get those failures.
