When you first go to the GPS option you have to register.  My registration keeps failing at 72%.  Has anyone else been able to connect?

Yes, no problem. That was the first thing I tried when I got in the car after buying it. And the GPS is one terrific feature. And you can even look up local businesses with just a few clicks and then tell the phone to tell you how to get there. And you can save specific addresses or locations in favorites folder. There is also a "recent" folder. Um, yeah, I like the GPS.  Wink

Oh, yeah, it checks the traffic situation live for you too.

Mine kept failing for the first hour or so. Then it worked all of a sudden. Probably just getting your network arranged

My registration went through the first time (I was first accessing around 5:30pm Eastern). What a slick GPS on the Instinct! I've been in love with my Nuvi for a while, but I could become a fan for sure.

hahaha i love the gps.. i take public transportation to and from work *living in the dc area you are stupid if you dont, we have the best public trans in the country imo*  i was sitting on the bus watching gps in action all the way home lol

then when i hopped off I decided to hunt down the closest gas stations with the lowest prices and inform my boyfriend when he and the dog came to meet me lol...i also found a few pool halls i didn't know existed, and an italian restaurant i want to try out.

yay for new gps toys Smiley hehe

Registration went smooth.  Make sure there is a good signal, I guess.  I have a Pioneer (moded) GPS in my Car but It's great having a this feature on my phone that I can take anywhere.  Yes, it works great.

Can't say I had any problems, though Friday my service was pretty sucky.   Still, in my opinion the Sprint nav is the best feature of the phone.. its what sold me on it.

My GPS works Great. an Awesome Feature. and if that were not enough, I just found out that I can go to Live Search, under the Web Tab, Press and hold, the lil Voice Button, and say somethin like, "Walmart" and it will go ahead and go online, Locate all the walmarts around me, I pick one, and Press the Lil car symbol next to the address, and the phone is INSTANTLY tellin me how to get there.

This is a very handy feature for me, as I am in a different town every day, and Never Know where anything is. I don't like getting lost in an 18 wheeler. As You don't like me running over your lawn.

you can run over my lawn any day!! just as long as you make sure that you take out ALL the grass... the mowing of the lawn is the most tedious of chores...

I looooove it. It is amazing. Better than the 360. I find that it is a little slow. I am not sure why, but it is slow at finding where I am and telling me the directions. But I love how I can easily find business locations. I really l iike this function.
